Thank you for attending our service-learning trainings and workshops, and for your interest and support of service-learning.  The Service-Learning Program will continue to offer mini-grants to teachers and educators who are interested in funding and support for service-learning projects.  We have developed a three-tiered level of grant distribution in order to engage more teachers and students in service-learning.

Level 1:  $500 mini-grants will be available for new practitioners and those who have not received a mini grant in the last three years.  These grants will include additional support for the project.
Level 2:  $250 mini-grants will be available for practitioners who have received one service-learning mini-grant within the past three years.  These grants are meant for teachers who know the process and components of service-learning and have had a successful project in the past.
Level 3:  $150 mini-grants will be available for those who have received more than one mini-grant in the past three years.  These grants are meant for practitioners who use service-learning, know the service-learning process and need little additional support.

Our first grant application deadline is October 4th, 2010.  Additional dates and information along with the application is on our website at www.service-learning.spps.org.  Also check out our service-learning trainings now offered on PD Express.
