Marty Davis, K - 12 Program Manager

Marty graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1984 and has been in education for 25 years.  He has been an elementary science specialist, elementary classroom teacher, and middle school science teacher.  Marty has also taught elementary science methods at both the University of Minnesota and Hamline University. Currently, he is K-12 Science Program Manager for Saint Paul Public Schools focusing on K-12 science curriculum and teacher professional development.   He has been active in science at a state and national level, including serving as chair of the 3-5 State of Minnesota Science Standards Writing Committee.  In 2000, Marty received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science from President Bush and Teacher of the Year from the Minnesota Science Teachers Association.  He holds degrees from University of Minnesota, University of Nebraska, Dana College and Luther-Northwestern Seminary.
